EMSO APPOINTS NEW F4 UAE PROMOTER

The Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO) has announced the appointment of Top Speed Asia as promoter of the F4 UAE Championship.

Having been the successful promoter of the Formula Regional Asian Championship (FRAC), and having played an integral role in such as the Ferrari Challenge Asia Pacific and Porsche Sports Cup China, Top Speed has all the experience to excel and reaffirm its position as one of the pioneers of single seater development in the region.

Together EMSO and Top Speed can create synergies between the F4 UAE Championship and FRAC, from which all the teams and drivers will benefit.

Khalid Bin Sulayem, EMSO President, said:
“The F4 UAE Championship has been growing since its launch in 2016. We believe that the collaboration with Top Speed Asia, who has rich experience in this field, will take the F4 UAE Championship to the next level.

“The UAE has always played an important role in motorsport in the MENA Region, and we are keen to turn the F4 UAE Championship into a hub for young local and regional talent. We would love to see the first Emirati F4 Champion, which would be a stepping stone towards the Formula 1 World Championship.”

Davide De Gobbi, Top Speed General Manager, commented: “Top Speed is privileged to be appointed promoter of the F4 UAE Championship, and grateful to EMSO for entrusting the development of its series to us. F4 UAE and FRAC will together ensure the Middle East becomes the epicenter of junior single seater at the start of next year.”

The F4 UAE launched in 2016, and since its inaugural season the Championship has attracted some of the world’s hottest young talents. The Championship continues to thrive and has proved crucial for the development of UAE drivers, with Amna and Hamda Al Qubaisi securing multiple podiums as they continue to put forward exciting performances.
